I too love Renaissance Faire's. I used to be one of those fresh faced wenches with the dangerously swelling bosoms in those sheer peasant blouses selling roasted turkey legs:):)

How fun for you:)

Dont' ever say you're not good at description, because that "monkey's middle finger" thing was, um..., well, it was highly effective at conveying just how bad you smelled at that point in time. If you'll excuse me now, I'm going to go get some aroma therapy.

I once wrote a porn puddle inspired by those Renaissance boobies of which you spoke. As for wines with cute names, my fave wine is called 'Obsession'. It's from Iron Forge Winery and VERY drinkable. I bought it the first time for a friend who'd been dumped and she was deep in the throes of calling his house at 3:00am, compulsively re-reading his letters and convincing herself if she pierced her tongue he'd come back to her. I kept her drunk with 'Obsession' for a few weeks until her stalker phase had passed. I wrote to Iron Forge and suggested their adverts should read, "Come for the crazy, stay for the taste!" ~LA

Fat Bastard wine is pretty good. I'm also a sucker for fun, artsy labels. It's always a nice surprise to find a really great wine that you bought just because of the name or the label. Then it's hard to toss the bottle out. We held onto our Francis Ford Coppola bottle for a long time, using it a candle stick.

The shawl sounds pretty! Care to share the recipe? I adore mushrooms and garlic. I cover steaks with them, but never had them just alone. It sounds yummy!
