I woke up at 7:30 this morning. Would have liked to have slept later, but the usual early morning anxiety started in and this time, I decided to skip the hour of tossing and turning, trying to get back to sleep and just got the hell up. Getting up and busy with something is about the only thing that helps... I figured I might just as well get on with it.

So I surfed the net for a couple of hours and as long as I stayed away from news and politics, I was fine... fine enough to get sleepy again, even. And since the headache I woke up with hadn't bothered to follow the anxiety to wherever it went, I decided to lie down in the recliner for a bit, and woke up four hours later with the headache still attached. It's the mad cow disease, I just know it! Several tylenol and a cup of coffee didn't even make a dent in the pain.

I went ahead and took a bath and reshaved everything, and then since it was well past lunchtime I talked the Prince into lupper (like brunch, only later) at the Mongolian Barbecue. I'm mad at them, though... they got rid of my very favorite stuff, the crawfish and chopped tomatoes and mojo sauce I always used to create my most favorite stir-fry ever. But I made some concoction with shrimp and scallops and tofu, seasoned it with a little too much cayenne and garlic and then topped off with some kung pao sauce that was also damn spicy. It was right tasty, too, if you could ignore the flames shooting out of my nostrils. We had a pretty nice time hanging out and talking, and considered going out and doing something afterward. But spending the evening at home really sounded best to both of us, so that's what we did.

I got all ambitious and decided to finally pull out the pastels and work on a drawing from a reference photo I found online. Three hours worth of work and I'm actually pretty pleased with it. Oh, I know it's not great. It's all out of proportion... items in the picture are either bigger or smaller than they should be in relation to the other items... but this was my first time using the pastels and I was pretty happy with what I was able to do with the colors. I just need to keep working on those drawing skills!

After I cleaned up from that dusty mess, I tried out some of the new lingerie on the Prince and it seemed to have the desired effect. We popped in a porno, and this one was actually pretty good.
