I just got off the phone with my grandmother, and my brother and his family are fine. Apparently they don't live right in Port Charlotte and brunt of the storm missed them. He told her that what they did get was kind of exciting... he'd never experienced a hurricane before. But he is just in awe of all the devastation to the area. Me too, from what I saw when I was frantically clicking through news and pictures last night looking for info. My heart goes out to all those who were affected.
